Shingle Style

This four bedroom house is located on a narrow wooded lot at the end of a curving drive that shields the house from the road and provides privacy from the neighbors. The main living spaces are open to the southern expsoure and a woodland clearing. The shingle style detailing, materials and colors of the exterior and interior were chosen to engage and respond to the setting. The house was planned with a flowing layout so that most of the house is used everyday.
