A 1920’s summer cottage had been expanded and grown into a year round home. The first floor was reprogramed to improve internal circulation and to provide access to a new terrace and a new porch that have expansive views of the Green Mountains, the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain. The project included creating a large open kitchen, family room, a walk-in pantry, a guest suite, a master suite, bathrooms and a porch with a fireplace. Finishes were replaced throughout the house. The mechanical systems were updated, high performance insulation and windows were provided and the house was brought up to current requirements for energy efficiency, comfort and structural integrity.
