The Pink Cottage
A ruinous pink cottage, bunkhouse and retaining wall were demolished and replaced with new structures perched above the lake. Because they are in the same locations as the old structures, the new cottage and bunkhouse were grandfathered and are located well within the waterfront setback. The bunkhouse accommodates the overflow of large family gatherings. The primary living spaces are located in a spacious great room that overlooks the lake and dock. Secondary spaces all communicate discretely with the great room. The scale, style, materials and design honor the character of traditional lakeside summer cottages.
