A decrepit pink cottage, bunkhouse and retaining wall were demolished and replaced with new structures that are perched above the lake. Because they are in the same locations as the old structures the cottage and the bunkhouse were grandfathered and are located well within the waterfront setback. The bunkhouse and an adjacent cottage accommodate the overflow of large family gatherings. The primary living spaces are located in a spacious great room that overlooks the lake and the dock. Secondary spaces including; bathrooms, bedrooms, pantry, stair and loft all communicate with the great room. The style and choice of materials honor the scale and character of traditional lakeside vacation homes.
