Texas Hill Country
This 1990s house located in the hills above Austin was extensively renovated in the style of a Texas Hill Country home, complete with clay tile roofing and stucco wall finish. The renovation included exterior living spaces, while inside, the hall was redesigned and elegant stairs were built to rationalize circulation between principal rooms. All of the bathrooms underwent reconfiguration, while lighting, cabinetwork and built-ins were replaced and updated. Finishes were reworked throughout including plaster walls, wood and plaster ceilings, tile, salvaged oak beams and hand-wrought ornamental ironwork.
